OMG! None of them! I’m very happy in the 21st century and greatly looking forward to the Jetson-esque flying car I was promised as a child. HOWEVER, in a good faith effort to answer this question, I will say a ship…a ship from the Age of Sail.

While it is true that I threw-up after spending the afternoon on the Susan Constant, a ship docked on a river, I think I would get used to sea travel. I think of those who sailed in this time as the equivalent of astronauts today. They were going into the great unknown, under perilous conditions. The sense of adventure is what appeals to me. I would not be a fan of the labor or the heat or the food (I really do relish the level of comfort that exists today), but I do think it has an exotic appeal, a once in a lifetime thrill to the prospect of discovering new worlds. So that’s my answer: a ship during the Age of Sail. But reluctantly.
